Obama: Omar Mateen Had ‘Glock Which Had A Lot of Clips in It’

President Obama spoke to reporters Monday about the terrorist attack on the Pulse nightclub in Orlando and said Omar Mateen had a “Glock which had a lot of clips in it.”

Obama also said Mateen had an “assault rifle.”
According to CNN, the President explained that Mateen acquired his guns via a background check.

And he explained that the background check did not stop Manteen “because he did not have a criminal record that in some ways would prohibit him from purchasing” his weapons.

Breitbart News has previously warned readers not to be fooled into believing background checks will prevent high-profile attackers from striking, and Obama’s admission is confirmation that background checks did not hinder Mateen in the least. Background checks only stop actual criminals, not latent ones.

Danny Banks, the Florida Department of Law Enforcement's special agent in charge, said at a news conference, "In that time, we need to set up, re-evaluate, reassess what's happening and make sure that all the pieces were in place."Unbelievable

At approximately 5 a.m., the SWAT team made the decision to rescue the hostages, officials said. 

Police set off controlled explosions inside the club to distract the gunman. An armored vehicle smashed through a wall of the club, and officers swarmed in behind. Eleven Orlando Police officers exchanged gunfire with the shooter, according to Mina. 

"We made a decision to do an explosive entry on the outside of the club to get to those people, and our SWAT team at that time encountered the suspect somewhere in that area, near one of the doorway entrances, and shot and killed him," Mina said.

Nightclub Witness: Orlando Terrorist Spared Black Clubgoers

A man who was trapped inside of the gay nightclub in Orlando where Omar Mateen massacred 49 people Sunday morning says that the ISIS-inspired terrorist selected victims based on their race.

The witness, who played dead for three hours during the attack, told ABC News that Mateen spared black club patrons.

“Are you guys black?” the man said Mateen, an American-born Muslim of Afghan descent, asked as he made his way through Pulse, Orlando’s largest gay club.

“I don’t have an issue with the blacks,” the 29-year-old killer said, according to the witness.

It has only been a day, and already suspicious details are emerging from the shooting at the Pulse nightclub in Orlando.

First, you have this report a live TV caller gave on a mainstream media channel claiming to have been inside the club when the shooting occurred. He said that when people tried to escape, someone was holding the door closed. As soon as he says this, the reporter “loses him” and they change the subject.

As reported in the video above, if someone was holding the door shut, the shooter was not acting alone. [Update: Stories have come out claiming people held the door shut after this was broadcast… listen to the story and decide for yourself if you buy it.] [SECOND Update: Turns out the guy claiming he held the door is an actor. Literally.)
