Good news on the corrupt, tyrant Holden pardon

View Image

From NC LS News Service

" On a humorous note, the News and Observer editorialized again on pardoning Governor William Woods Holden. While pleased that it passed the Senate, the N&O notes that without passage by the House that the pardon does not carry any legal force. I can tell you from conversations with key House members that it is a 90% certainty that this bill will not be voted upon in 2011. Much thanks is to be given to our State Chairman for his wonderful scholarship that bought the time needed to keep Holden relegated to the pages of infamy where he belongs.

My great, great Grandfather ***Bartholomew Figures Moore, The Father Of The NC Bar, words below.

"Holden's impeachment is demanded by a sense of public virtue and due regard to the honor of the state. He is an *exceedingly corrupt man and ought to be placed before the people as a public example of a **tyrant condemned and punished."
