The 11th Annual Eastern Sam Davis Youth Camp

Simply wonderful as always. The second year in a row at this location which was unusual. Activities included riflery, archery, swimming, canoeing, zip-lining, rock climbing, miniature golf, ball room dancing and really, really good Southern food. The 7 hours of classroom instruction each day included unvarnished history, leadership, etiquette and deportment. Doors were held open for the fairer sex who were never touched except when dancing. Yes Ma'am, no Ma'am, yes Sir, no Sir were compulsory. Just a wonderful yearly camp which makes everyone clamor to return. This was Dixie's sixth year. Woodman Of The Wood Family Activity Center in Thaxton, VA.
