A Personal Note from Tim Wildmon

You did it! There's no question that your taking time to get involved has influenced Dominion Services and Richmond, Virginia, parade organizers to reverse an earlier decision to replace "Christmas" with "holiday."

Late yesterday afternoon, after thousands of emails and hundreds of phone calls to Dominion, parade organizers posted a statement on their website stating "In light of the outpouring of support for retaining 'Christmas' in the name, our board has voted to change the name to the 'Dominion Christmas Parade.'"
Read their complete statement here.

As a slight clarification, the Richmond statement says it was their idea to change the name. However, Dominion had no problem with it. Either way, your action made the difference!

Companies need to know you will stand up for the meaning of Christmas. As Christians, we can remind everyone that Christ is the true meaning of Christmas is by being a witness.

Thank you again for making a difference! And...Merry Christmas!
