  1. He is just a sweetheart in his bowtie and fancy hair cut. Southerners should be damn proud of this guy.

There is worry about the CIC going on this show as they are sure to try and make him look bad. I assume he is prepared.

    Brock,

You assume correctly. The SCV is not choosing to hide from its enemies. You can expect them to be rude to him.

  3. Watched the 12-3-2010 episode of Hardball, no SCV interview on there. What's up with that?

  5. I'm looking forward to an explanation on the Hardball situation.

The SCV and CIC would have better luck appealing to Judge Andrew Napolitano and his show Freedom Watch. The Judge openly discusses Nullfication, Secession, and holds the same opinion of Lincoln as studied Libertarians. Trace Adkins recently mentioned the Sesquicentennial on Freedom Watch, much to the Judge's delight. The Judge took the ball and ran with the topic of "states rights" favorably, but Trace wasn't as knowledgeable on the subject as no doubt the CIC is.

Since the Judge is the ONLY champion of the real limited government issues we support, I'd bet he wouldn't turn down the advertising money the History channel passed on either.

    Food for thought,

  6. Good point and did you see the video of Trace Adkins below? Napolitano is certainly a hero to me, but I don't understand his friendship with Beck who continually downgrades us. Beck is too smart to not know the truth which means that he must be purposefully lying.

  7. Napolitano's influence on Beck is much greater than the converse. You never heard Beck use the term "Libertarian" to describe himself until he took the Judge on tour with him. Watch this 4-part series the Judge delievers on Beck's "The American Revival". The link is to part 1. Watch all 4 parts - one of the best speeches you'll ever hear.

Beck does know better, but has too much personal capital previously invested in the diety of Abraham Lincoln to turn back. His arguments are ever-more leaning toward the logical conclusion, that Government should be constitutionally limited with the emphasis being at the local level. Beck is coming around, but cannot personally dent the ediface of Lincoln as the quintessential American Idol.

Beck did retract his comments regarding the CSA constitution, as he should have, due to "many e-mails from the south" pointing out his error. That would have included a rather long and scathing e-mail from me, which went on to point out the article against "Internal Improvements" and etc.

Its easy to forget that Beck has educated himself as he has gone along. His self-education is ongoing and leaning harder and harder in the correct direction. A good reading of "Red Republicans" would do him good.

  8. Congratulations on setting him straight and let's hope he eventually comes around. I had my fifth daughter, Dixie, read his Common Sense which I thought was excellent, but was disconcerted when I found out his stance on the Tyrant Lincoln. I have saved your link and will check it out later. If you search NamSouth you receive numerous hits on the Judge and I'll leave one which contains five videos.
