  1. The problem is if you have to have an ID then you have to prove who you are and that increases the chances of you being arrested for an outstanding warrent or unpaid child support. Thats why the "poor and minorities" dont wnat the law to pass. Here in the south a lot of the motor vehicle office have face regonigtion software so it you have ever had an ID and you try to get one under a different name you get busted pretty quick. I have seen it happen when living in Mississippi, they went ahead and did the photo and it seemed to take for ever for the id to be made, when all of a sudden in walked the police and arrested the young man for an outstanding warrent and trying to obtain a false goverment document..the ID. So for those woundering why the big deal that should make things a little clearer. Thats why the so called "poor Minorities" have an issue with having to have an ID.

  2. The law states that you need an ID to purchase Alcohol and tobacco products. I wonder if the same people who cannot produce an ID to vote could produce one to purchase either tobacco or alcohol.

  3. It seems to me this is a political move on the Osama administration to secure more votes on election day and making fraud easier.
