The Muslim Brotherhood party secured 39 percent of the vote, while the Salafi Al Nour party won 31 percent of the vote in the second stage of Egypt’s landmark post-Mubarak elections, according to unofficial results published on the website of Egypt’s Al-Ahram newspaper on Sunday.
The unofficial results for the second stage of elections for the lower house of the Egyptian parliament also showed that the secular, liberal Wafd party won 22 percent of the vote.
Islamist parties won some 70 percent of the total vote, a similar result to the first stage of elections, which took place on November 28.
During the 1973 war, the Egyptians advanced far and fast enough that Israel was almost forced to resort to nuclear weapons. The reason for Egypt's initial success was Israeli complacency and overconfidence.

It will be a bloody and protracted battle if the two countries go to war, one that may escalate as the Islamified governments of Libya and Iraq ('freed' by RINOs and Democrats) come to Egypt's aid.
At best it will be a major regional war that sends oil prices skyrocketing to 150+ dollars a barrel. At worse it will be one of four possible regional conflicts (Iran, China, Korea being the others) that coagulates into WW3.
