What's most disgusting to me is the way the entire "community" acts as if such behavior is both expected and comical.
And people wonder why I never leave home unarmed?
My USUAL response is "for the same reason I never leave home without my PANTS - because a Gentleman Unarmed is Un-DRESSED" - but I may just have to shorten that to "better to be tried by 12..."
Now imagine spending twenty-one years as a member of the 'Forces of Occupation', trying to decipher the signals broadcast which enable you to recognize the threatening from the non-threatening, the good from the bad, then realizing that without warning, the flip of an invisible switch changes one to the other.
John Derbyshire's article 'The Talk' was sugar-coated and incomplete in presentation, but never-the-less accurate.

The very next time I read a blog, I hope that it won't fail me just as much as this one. I mean, Yes, it was my choice to read through, however I actually believed you would probably have something useful to talk about.
