Back when I started in nursing (1999, at the tender age of 50), hospitals were already forcing parents to get Social Security numbers for their newborns before they could take the babies home. I wonder when they will start forcing them to be tattooed with a bar-code before they will "permit" them to take their children home.
When my oldest daughter was born in 1973 she was issued a ss card at birth, I remember how upset I was about it because I could see what the future was bringing.

Hopefully, we won't be around to witness this, but just think about the horrendous future it appears we are leaving our children. I must say that we have been failures, at least so far, but we never know, maybe this can be turned around.
No, it's NOT the Mark of the Beast. The mark is 'given' on the hand or forehead (Rev. 13:16); this scanner reads the venous patterns already present in the hand itself--presumably put their by God's design process in utero.
The mother featured here is yet another example of people mouthing off and revealing their ignorance of the Bible. Learn to read, sister. Oh, wait...she probably went to publik skools herself, which explains why she can't. She's emoting on what she thinks she knows rather than thinking about it and/or checking the Bible itself. Her misconceptions and technophobia are showing.
An implanted chip, or tattoo, might conceivably be possible forms for the Mark. This palm scanner, like retinal and fingerprint scanners, clearly is NOT. This kind of nonsense will only make it easier for the Mark to be slipped in, since resisting this simple scanner so stupidly can then be used to make resistance to the actual Mark look similarly stupid. Sister is playing right into the Beast's hands, and doesn't know it!
Sorry Brother - but I'm not at all sure you're correct.
Why would TPTB bother with "chips" when the tech exists to do the same thing without them, with a simple palm reader or retinal scanner?!
I don't believe St. John had the tech language to describe everything he saw, and besides that I'd like to see what the original Greek language was before making a snap judgement!
Remember: "The letter killeth but the spirit giveth life!" -- no better example IMHO!
All that said, an even bigger issue is that I believe The Enemy would find it much easier to convince people this was OK since it's NOT "given" and so-forth.
Bottom line: This crap is WRONG and *MUST* be resisted!
