The worst I remember is cutting corn stalks around the inside of the fence in a field, so that the machine had clearance to get in and do the rest. Being inside a silo, while it was being filled wasn't any fun either.:) Speaking of silos, no one wanted to climb up and affix the ladder to the outside except me, as it was a nobrainer as you got $5 for it, when you worked all day for $6, if you were fast.
Oh, please. Whoever fed that line of crap to that kid should be made to hoe cotton. Dumb asses.
ReplyDeleteReally. Like something's wrong with doing it. I certainly have the experience.:)
DeleteI had a great uncle that raised cotton in Arkansas and I know members of my family picked cotton.
