Blithering idiots, the columnist and the killer.
I would argue that your rationalizations speak to how numb we are in this society to gun violence and murder. We’ve come to accept our insanity. We’d prefer to avoid seriously reflecting upon the absurdity of the prevailing notion that the second amendment somehow enhances our liberty rather than threatens it.
How many young people have to die senselessly? How many lives have to be ruined before we realize the right to bear arms doesn’t protect us from a government equipped with stealth bombers, predator drones, tanks and nuclear weapons?
Our current gun culture simply ensures that more and more domestic disputes will end in the ultimate tragedy, and that more convenience-store confrontations over loud music coming from a car will leave more teenage boys bloodied and dead.
Whitlock never lays responsibility for Jovan Belcher’s murder of his 22-year-old girlfriend and his suicide at the feet of Jovan Belcher.

Asshat.
ReplyDeleteYou're being awfully reserved this evening.:)
DeleteHow 'bout we blame Jovan Belcher? He pulled the trigger.
ReplyDeleteLife is about choices. Sometimes we make bad choices.
Sounds like Mr. Whitlock is a fucking idiot.
Always someone else's fault.
Always someone else's fault.
DeleteThe liberal mindset.
Well, what can I say Brock, I'm getting surly being housebound.
ReplyDeleteNo, I thought you would be more-so.:)
DeleteHafta remember though, guns are not inanimate objects. They are vile creatures and do the shooting themselves. The gods only know how hard it is for agood person to restrain himself from mass murder when a gun is nearby.
ReplyDeleteI've had to tie my gun in my pocket, because it tries to jump out whenever it senses a liberal......:)
Delete1st thing to check is. what presciption drugs he was taking. That should answer everything
ReplyDeleteI think Hussein gives them away without a prescription.:)
DeleteI've become angry at the progressives use of the term "gun violence". Another effort to weigh public opinion against freedoms of firearms ownership.
ReplyDeleteIt is no longer violence of people. It is now "the gun". One more reason I discarded cable along with FOX several years ago.
