In my world I would require that all teachers and school administrators get a concealed carry permit and then qualify each semester. Parents with concealed carry permits would be encouraged to carry to and from and in the school.
I would post a billboard at the entrance to the school grounds stating the carry policy. I would make mandatory safe handling of firearms classes and optional marksmanship classes at the on grounds range.
Disarming the population makes the environment less safe for the law abiding citizens and safer for the criminals and crazies out there.

As I understand it, Israel does something along those lines. It works for them. Of course, we don't do what works anymore in this country.
ReplyDeleteAnd they have the safest airport in the world without perverts feeling you up.
DeleteIn my world the conversation would be about those lost and those left behind. Strange how the rabid gun control freaks can turn all the conversation away from what should be most important at times like these. Including mine as the above quoted post proves. In a message to my local network tonight I sent the following:
ReplyDeleteIt is most sad that the facts never get a chance to come out and the gun control crowd is out screaming for an assault rifle and semi automatic weapon and high capacity magazine ban and they may damn well get it. Evil walks among us. It always has but of late Evil has become more bold as if it believes it is becoming accepted in our world. We are in a battle of epic proportions on many levels for the hearts and souls of the the people of this nation and we have been losing ground. Harden your hearts while you embrace your faith for there is a fight coming if we want it or not and yet never forget what is right. Dark days are coming but walk in the Light and watch your six...
But as to what should be most important I posted under the Pillar of Faith:
For The Children Lost
Matthew 19:14 - But Jesus said, Suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven.
For those they have left behind. May you find peace in Him who loves you...
Psalm 34:18 - The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit.
From my youngest days in service to the Episcopal Church:
May the peace of God, which passes all understanding, guard your hearts and minds in Jesus Christ.
Just in from my Cousin John which I posted in another place.

"The majority of those who died today were children, beautiful little kids between the ages of 5 and 10 years old,” a visibly distraught President Obama said during a nationally televised address Friday afternoon.
After pausing to compose himself for perhaps five long seconds, Mr. Obama said, “They had their entire lives ahead of them: birthdays, graduations, weddings, kids of their own.”
Then the president wiped the corner of his eye.

Wonder why the President does not care everyday for the murders that go on in the abortion clinics? What is the difference in the killing in the schools compared to those aborted?
Leave it to Cousin John to bring me to a place I would rather not go. My most cynical answer would be simply this:
ReplyDeleteto the progressive/socialist/Marxist one world order bastards those aborted are of no use to their end game while those lost in the school advance their agenda. Never let a good crisis go to waste comes to mind...
those aborted are of no use to their end game while those lost in the school advance their agenda.
ReplyDeleteRight on the money.
Just as the number of young black on black murders are mostly ignored around the country and in the president's home town of Chicago he found time to address the Tayvon Martin case when a young black man is shot by someone "white". Never let a good crisis go to waste, if you can't find a good crisis then create one...
