I really enjoyed looking at these photographs, but I was offended by the deliberate misuse of English language, i.e., referring to American Negroes as "African-American", as though the ONLY African-Americans are negro.
First of all, what's wrong with using the traditional racial appellation of "negro"?
When I was young, that was considered polite, correct, and courteous.
If they weren't born in Africa, then there's no way they can be "African-American".
What about the REAL "African-Americans", i.e., those WHITE refugees born in Africa who fled persecution and genocide to become good, stalwart, law-abiding American citizens?
