Letter to the American People on Ukraine

Via southwind

In this difficult hour of serious trouble on our Western borders, I would like to address the American people in order to help you understand better the positions of our Russian patriots which are shared by the majority of our society.

Difference Between the two Meanings of Being American (In the Russian View)

  1. This is my idea and suggestion: let us hate the American political elite together. you for the American, us for the Russian, but the enemy is in both cases the same – the global oligarchy who rules the word using you and smashing us. Let us revolt. Let us resist. Together. Russians and Americans. We are the peopleThis is my idea and suggestion: let us hate the American political elite together. Let us fight them for our identities – you for the American, us for the Russian, but the enemy is in both cases the same – the global oligarchy who rules the word using you and smashing us. Let us revolt. Let us resist. Together. Russians and Americans. We are the people. We are not their puppets.. We are not their puppets. ---really? Power to the people? Da comrads da. Pashalsta motherfukerz. I smell commies.

  2. I, as an American patriot and also one born in Ukraine, can tell you fellas that you are a bit mistaken as to the players on the ground over there. You have it backwards - you think that the russian separatists are the downtrodden citizens who won't take any more crap and are taking things into their own hands to defend themselves, but you cannot be further from the truth. You see, the Ukrainian people, with peaceful protests, forced a despot from power. The legally elected Ukrainian Rada then selected an interim leader, and now Russia is using proxy fighters in the East and South to destabilize this government. The separatists are not the majority, are fighting to defeat the Ukrainian constitution, and to hand over part or all of the country to another despot - Putin. Why would American patriots support this BS? I don't.

      Instigated by our commie, Obama.

    2. Obama and the neo-cons at the CIA and the State Dept. most certainly took advantage of the situation to their own advantage. But as I have outlined previously, Ukrainian desires for self-determination and to be rid of Russian hegemony goes back hundreds of years. Supporting those desires is not an endorsement of the manipulations of and corruption in DC.

  3. The older I get the less I know. Yesterday my hair was cut by my barber of ten years who came from Tajikistan and cut hair there. We always talk about Russia, America, Putin, and (spit) Obama.

Yesterday he asked, "Do you know why Putin has so much power?" I answered that I was not sure. "Because the people love him" he responded. "They are finally making money and living better."

I listen to Reuben. I don't argue with him about Russia.

  4. I only wish I were there with you Patriots. Stand Fast. That was the motto on the Grants Scotch bottles that I loved. You guys epitomize that admonition for me. Salute!
