Things are adding up rather quickly now.

Contrary to popular media spin, Police Chief Tom Jackson confirms that Officer Darren Wilson did see cigars in the hands of Mike Brown and did view him as a potential suspect in the previous strong-arm robbery when he approached for questioning.

(Saint Louis Dispatch) The officer who shot Ferguson teen Michael Brown stopped Brown and another teen because they were walking in the street, not because of a robbery a few minutes earlier, Ferguson Police Chief Tom Jackson said Friday afternoon.

Jackson said the officer was aware cigars had been taken in the robbery of a store nearby, but did not know when he encountered Brown and Dorian Johnson that they might be suspects. He stopped them because they were walking in the street, Jackson said.

But Jackson told the Post-Dispatch that the officer, Darren Wilson, saw cigars in Brown’s hand and realized he might be the robber.

  1. I have no idea what happened that night. Maybe the cop was defending his life. maybe it was self defense, maybe it was murder, I don't know. What I do know is I am getting sick and tired of seeing standing armies on American streets.

    2. Until a hostile enemy invades (ahem...border, foreign armies, etc). Then you'll wish those MRAPs were still around.

    3. If local police SWAT teams lose this equipment, it will just go to Obama's private armies and his federal police forces.

Thanks and I believe they already have all that is necessary, so removing it from the local police would help, as his army and the feds can't use twice as much unless they were in an actual war where they were loosing equipment.

    4. My thinking is along the lines of 10th amendment protections (or what's left of them). I'd rather keep these Mil weapons and personnel carriers local than let it get into unelected bureaucratic hands. Well, more bureaucratic hands any way. :(

    5. OK, how about giving them to the NG as a compromise?

    6. That'll work. At least they won't get shipped to drug cartels or ISIS if they stay at home and are accounted for by someone other than Obama and Holder.

  2. The problem is it does not matter if he stole the cigars. It also does not matter if he tried to take the gun from the cop. If he was running away then there was no reason to shoot him because obviously the cop still had the gun

    1. Not if this is true.

And then Michael just bum-rushes him and shoves him back into his car. Punches him in the face and them Darren grabs for his gun. Michael grabbed for the gun. At one point he got the gun entirely turned against his hip. And he shoves it away. And the gun goes off.

Well, then Michael takes off and gets to be about 35 feet away. And, Darren’s first protocol is to pursue. So, he stands up and yells, “Freeze!” Michael and his friend turn around. And Michael taunts him… And then all the sudden he just started bumrushing him. He just started coming at him full speed. And, so he just started shooting. And, he just kept coming. And, so he really thinks he was on something.

  3. Ok. My story is only hearsay.A friend of mine is a 10 year veteran law enfircement officer. He and two other officers were forced to open fire on a very large man with severe mental problems. The perpetrator charged officers with a 10" butcher knife several times. He was tazed and pepper sprayed with no effect. He then sliced an officer with the knife and then ran towards the other 3 leo's. He was struck by over one dozen 40 cal bullets with center mass hits and kept coming. The final shot was to his head which put him down.(yes he died). There are many stories like this. Some go down with one shot some take many. Now Mike Brown was a big guy and we dont know if he had been using drugs. Mix his size and possibilty of drugs and the officers story certainly seems possible. Wait til the tox screen comes out from the autopsy.

    1. Don't doubt it one bit, but am concerned, will the report be honest considering the powers at play?

    2. Yeah. I get what your saying. Had a friend in Coon Rapids MN who died in 2006 from being stabbed 14 times. Two of the stab wounds were from behind and the one that killed him was to his head. So are you sitting down for this?.....His death was ruled a suicide. So with the powers that be, the truth is what they say it is.
