Expert: No Rise in Use of Deadly Force by Police; Just More Cell Phones

Via Susan

It seems to be taken for granted by both the left and the right in America today that incidents of police brutality are growing even as crim that police brutality is on the rise. Any look through the world of liberal opinion will find many voices saying that police brutality is growing in America today.

From the right it has also become a favorite theme among libertarians that police brutality is growing, even out of control. The libertarian website Reason.com is constantly publishing stories about America's increasingly militarized police forces and tales of police brutality.

  1. Who said that we are all entitled to our own opinions but not to our own Facts - there are more people in America, so it stands to reason that there would be more crime and hence more police brutality. However, from all the official data, crime is falling in America (at least before the latest onslaught of young men arriving from Central America) - are the police abuses declining as well, but we are nevertheless outraged whenever it occurs (and rightly so)? Is that perception or reality created by a consolidated MSM acting as Tools and Enablers totally cooperating as the Pravda mouthpiece. How many police depts. across America are militarizing thanks to the availability of "free stuff" from the Feds?

These should be known facts, but it takes time and energy and caring to put it all together so we peasants can understand. We definitely need more facts, but too often when someone tries to tell us the Truth and shows the inter-connectedness of the crap around us, we label them as kooks, conspiracy nuts, etc., and shoot the messenger - few people are good at listening any more.

Keep those cellphones charged, dear Patriots!

  3. Soon as they say "Expert says" my BS-o-meter goes off.

Every institution of our civilization is corrupt and self serving. Police, being the nightstick of the state is no exception. It won't be long before every agency with regulatory power will be unaccountable for their assaults and murders. We are entering the hard tyranny phase.

The Police no longer exist to serve and protect us, the citizenship. Their main goal is to protect themselves and the corrupt state that allows them to do as they please.

Difficult to ascertain how we got here from Mayberry, which wasn't very long ago.
