This really tore me up, then it pissed me off. Thankfully all three of my daughters graduated before common core. Yet, my fears now lie, with my three grandchildren two of which are already in school and seemingly are being effected negatively by way less than perfect educational system. I am so very lucky to have received my education in the 50's and 60's, despite the "stop, drop and cover years, those truly were the good ole days"
