  1. Problem with this argument is that there are already chatter from leftists about banning/altering the US Flag. This would just give them more ammo.
They've already won the battle for the battle flag - there's no chance in hell of coming back from that now.
They're focusing on their next object. Have been for a month now at least.

  2. As much as they wish to ban symbols of Southern history from the public square they will never be abletp ban it from from the front porch flag staff, the pickup back window or more importantly the heart. Fools, utter fools.

  3. The KKK was originally formed by Democrats!

At the time of Ulysses S. Grant's election to the presidency, white supremacists were conducting a reign of terror throughout the South.

In outright defiance of the Republican-led federal government, Southern Democrats formed the Klan and other organizations that violently intimidated blacks and Republicans and tried to win political power. The Ku Klux Klan was originally founded as a social club for former Confederate soldiers in 1865, the Klan evolved into a terrorist organization.

The Klan would be responsible for thousands of deaths, and would help to weaken the political power of Southern blacks and Republicans. Across the South, the Klan used brutal violence to intimidate Republican voters.

Funny liberal democrats seem to forget THEIR history.
