NC: Gun laws often kill the innocent

Image result for carol Brown, a 39 year-old abused person, died in New Jersey waiting on a purchase permit.

Carol Brown, a 39 year-old abused person, died in New Jersey waiting on a purchase permit. She was killed by a person she had a restraining order against. That person used a knife. Carol was subject to the waiting period. This is a person who probably did not care to own a gun until she felt threatened.

Why did she have to wait so long that she lost her life? Why don’t gun control advocates provide a way for people in fear for their lives an opportunity to protect themselves? I hope her family is suing New Jersey, if for no other reason, than to make a point that she was denied her constitutional right.

  1. I'm sure some sleazy lawyer would take the case. It has no merit. Governments are always immune from the consequences of their policies.

From the point of view of the Bureaucracy, she would have used that gun to kill her attacker. So the outcome was the same either way. One dead. One in prison. There was nothing to be gained by letting her be armed. It's simple math.

  2. Less face it even if the gov. Got there hands on all the legal guns in america and no person could legally have guns, there still would be guns used in crimes. The gov could not and would not do nothing about it. For heavens sake drugs are illegal and drugs are all over the world so if the gov thinks it can lie to people and the people are dumb enough to think its true That if there are no guns the crime and killings will stop they are really stupid because the same gov cant keep drugs off the street so what makes dumb people think the gov could keep guns out of the hands of bad people? When u are in one of these gun free cities and a thug pulls a gun and wants ur phone, all u can do is hand it over. Now if this same thug does this in a city that lets people carry a gun, guess what the role is reversed. With out a gun u have to ask yourself if the phone is worth your life. With a gun with you the thug has to ask himself if that phone is woth his life. See how owning a gun switches the life and the question of it?? Gun laws get law abidding people killed. When do thugs follow or care about the law. Wake up america. I hope they sue the hell out of the state and then sue them personaly and hold the liable for the actions
