At least they don't have their fingers on the trigger, like you see on action flick poster, there the hero or heroine is trying to look tough and really bad ass. And for their sake, I hope that they were NOT issued any ammo.
The gal must be a liberal/democratic, (or their countries closest thing to it), as liberals seldom have a clue about firearms. This woman doesn't have the slightest clue. None. What a waste of a good Mosin Nagant.
I know just enough about the Mosin Nagant to give well informed opinion on the subject, and be wrong. My guess is they are mis-holding the M44 carbine version. The guy, yes, that is a M44. The gal, not so sure. Given the length between the two barrel bands on the front, I go with an M44.
I am fan of the MNs. I am well aware of their faults and short comings. The trigger sucks, and working the safety is a pita. And that is on a good day, no stress, and you have strong finger grip. But some times you do have to hit some thing in the next county over and it is hiding behind an object. It does the job it was designed for.
What the _____?

I'm not sure if it's a M91 or a M44. How about you?

I am really amazed at this. What if a bayonet charge is needed..oh oh....
ReplyDelete:) I've got a brake on my M44 with the bayonet in place, but the brake has to come off to use the bayonet. :)
DeleteMaybe the forbidden anti-drug gang Mexican militia?
ReplyDeleteLots of towns have taken to defending themselves.
If so more power to them.

I hadn't thought of that and you may well be right.
