I remember the hype at the SHOT Show on January 18, 2016, when Kimber announced the new gun they were launching, the K6s revolver. While parking the car and waiting in line with the other media folks, we were all discussing what could be done to the J frame to make this something other than another “me too” product. After making my way to the Kimber booth at the top of the hill, I got my first chance to see, and then handle, the new revolver. The problem with this whole "shorty" fad is that the bullets lose so much energy from the lack of barrel that they are ineffective or underperform at target. ---Ray

DeleteI don’t understand why you would try a use a stub nose for anything over 5-yards. I sure wouldn’t bet my life doing it. As a last-ditch weapon, they are fine. But in any serious situation, depending on this for a 50-yard shot, will get most people dead. Honestly, if I have room to carry this, I have room for another full sized 45.

I have a .357 LCR for a pocket gun and like you said 5 yards or less.
