GRNC: NO COMPROMISE ON FEDERAL GUN CONTROL

 I, the signatory of this petition, do hereby affirm that:

    Whereas, Senator Dianne Feinstein, Sen. Charles Schumer, Representative Elizabeth Esty and others are exploiting national tragedies to promote a pre-ordained agenda to end the private ownership of firearms;
   
    Whereas, gun control advocates continue to camouflage gun control behind benign-sounding motives such as banning so-called "bump stocks" when, in truth the language being debated would ban optical sights, trigger jobs, muzzle compensators and other devices commonly used by competitive shooters and others;
   
    Whereas, the intent of gun control organizations to use a so-called "bump stock" ban as a springboard for additional gun control was openly expressed by House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi, when she said: "They’re going to say, ‘You give them bump stock, it's going to be a slippery slope.’ I certainly hope so";
