The problem I have with MLK Day is that it is the only federal holiday for an individual - there are a lot better choices for American heroes but it would be better if we did away with it altogether. We used to have Washington B'day and Columbus day but they have either morphed into something else or gone away.

ReplyDeleteAgreed, but I guess we'll have to wait until 2025 for the goodies to come out, though it'll probably get sloughed off even longer I imagine....
