    2. I think it is grammatically correct to say "a full single shot weapon" or a "full semi-automatic weapon". It doesn't make much sense as there are no partials but it isn't wrong.

Having watched the video and I have no idea what they were trying to prove. A few rounds were fired slowly and then a few more were fired rapidly. The weapon used was only a semi-automatic. I think the "expert" was clueless.

      He was retired Army.

  2. Just because some one is an "expert" (in this case a genuine general) does not mean they have the slightest clue as to what they are talking about. I do not know if this is weapons grade stupidity on display or comedy gold. These two beta males would find crushing a beer can to be a challenge, and out of their depth in a parking lot puddle. Well, I suppose they can, and this video can be used as a cautionary example of what not to do, and what not be when you grow up.

  3. If you have a properly tuned Armalight Rifle clone it can be cycled almost as fast as the M-16 in full auto. But why would you? Shooting that fast your have taken a precision shooting sub-MOA rifle and made it a minute of doorway gun.

When I was taught to shoot a full auto M-16 back in the early 80's the goal was to fire 3 to 5 shots per burst. They went to the 3-round burst to help prevent mag dumps. I didn't mind that modification but the update to the sights was a step backwards.

    1. 3-round burst

Yes, my preference would be single, 3 round and auto 3 way switch.

  4. As I have commented lots of times, generals are almost universally liberal. They have spent their entire adult lives with government provided food, shelter, medical care, schools for their kids, day care, even churches. As they rise in rank they learn that their own great ideas are better than everyone else's and the never question the limits of their own authority. It should surprise no one that they universally favor gun control because every military base practices it. Generals only want privates to have guns in limited, tightly controlled circumstances.

      True.

    2. The real change here is that generals used to keep their pie holes shut on political matters.
