Sydney Schanberg has been a journalist for nearly 50 years. The 1984 movie The Killing Fields, which won several Academy Awards, was based on his book The Death and Life of Dith Pran.
In 1975, Schanberg was awarded the Pulitzer Prize for
international reporting at great risk. He is also the recipient of two
George Polk awards, two Overseas Press Club awards, and the Sigma Delta

From what I have witnessed, it appears that any soldier left in Vietnam, even inadvertently, was, in fact, abandoned years ago, and that the farce that is being played is no more than political legerdemain done with smoke and mirrors to stall the issue until it dies a natural death.

DeleteNot to mention the men that were killed and aircraft destroyed because McCain wanted to show off and be a hot shot on the carrier. Spoiled scumbag from the beginning.
