Environmentalists have driven logging companies out of many forested areas as they condemn anything that looks like clearcutting. Instead they rely on forest fires to do the clearcutting that loggers weren't allowed to do. The crazies run environmental policy...they need grownups to do forest management and none are presently employed in that position.
