is this another one size fits all aircraft like the F35? not vtol? not carrier qualified? no air refueling capability? whats the airframe life time expected to be, greater than the T38?
The aircraft is only designed to transform walkers to fliers. Familiarization is something a Link flight simulator can do without hanging an inept pilot out to dry. But there's no real tried and true substitute for strapping a neophyte into a real airframe and either doing the correct thing or dying.
