Secret Service Takes Jim Acosta's Press Credentials Away. Twitter Explodes.

Image result for CNN's Jim Acosta has press pass suspended by White House, Sarah Sanders announces
Clearly he pushed her away.  A gentleman, he ain't.

The United States Secret Service took away CNN's Jim Acosta's "hard pass" late on Wednesday after the professional provocateur pulled another obnoxious stunt during a White House press conference.

"I’ve just been denied entrance to the WH. Secret Service just informed me I cannot enter the WH grounds for my 8pm hit," Acosta wrote on Twitter.

  1. The secret service should have arrested him for assault. Of course the whiny press corps is calling for a boycott. I hope they do and it's permanent.

  2. WH press corps is a simple convenience privilege extended to the press by the office holder. the press treats the privilege as a right.
I believe press conferences should be only for something of national importance. a daily press briefing with the press asking questions is not necessary. the press should report what was said and keep their own comments to editorial pages.
i feel also the press should buy an airline ticket if they wish to accompany a office holder on field trips.
in the words of that august hollywood actor "Fuck Acosta"

  3. Let them boycott. Then other "alternative" media should be invited in to take their place. That would be more diversity which is what the left SAYS they want, right? --Ron W

  4. As they used to say in the military, if you don't respect the man, respect the rank. Trump is the President. Acosta isn't. He has been confrontational, antagonistic, arrogant and rude. He should have been kicked out months ago. Trump should have a heart-to-heart chat with the press corps and tell them to shape up or he'll kick them all out and conduct press conferences over the internet using questions submitted online. Do we need a White House Press Corps? Probably not.

    1. & never return hopefully. Trump, obviously can take it but shouldn't have to put up with it. Sarah Sanders is another story and I would tell the press corps if they can't act as ladies and gentlemen then they will be banned, period and screw the reaction.
