The Southern Poverty Law Center, an activist group tracking hate groups in the U.S., announced Thursday that it has fired its co-founder and former chief litigator.

Morris Dees was ousted from the organization on Wednesday, the organization's president said in a statement. The organization did not give cause for Dees's "termination," but alluded to necessary steps being taken "[w]hen one of our own fails to meet ... standards" of inclusivity that the organization espouses.

    1. Strange that being a co-founder he didn't make sure that he couldn't be fired, but as a multimillionaire he may care less.

  2. $PLC is a hate group. They hate everything "American". As for Dees, I wouldn't be surprised to learn that concrete evidence has once again emerged linking him to having sexual relations with a child under the age of 16.

  4. Dees must have ticked someone off real good. But with all he has put by over the years he's not going to have to worry where his next meal is coming from. Whatever happens, he has a lot to answer for.
