Via Reborn "The Militia are trying to protect our country which is their right and were arrested. Two American soldiers were detained by Mexican soldier on U.S. soil. Like Lou Dobbs said, he couldn't believe the American soldier turned over his weapon to the Mexican soldiers. I couldn't either....Like Col. MacGregor said, "Mexico is an act of war and not an ally." Immigration is a form of war in which the violence is delayed."
The Mexican government is powerless to control the cartels at our border. But somehow when it comes to belligerently confronting our own soldiers on our own soil, the Mexicans seem to muster the personnel and temerity to defend their side of the border. Moreover, they apparently have the unbridled impudence to complain about armed American citizens defending our border, while they have permanently transformed our country in the worst way imaginable through their disrespect of our sovereignty. This is clearly no longer about immigration, but about a pure invasion that requires a military buildup.

ReplyDeleteSomething JUST DOESN'T Smell RIGHT with this story. There seems to be some missing pieces.
These Military Guys, girls, ?? Were they just stumbling around looking at their cell phones, were they on GAURD DUTY, taking selfies whilst walking their particular sector, armed? The article is HINKEY. If this is true, these two will have bandages all over their asses. They won't be able to sit down for a month. You know they were the recipients of a major AZZ CHEWING of EPIC PROPORTIONS.
This is all they say:
DeleteWhile the soldiers were parked south of the border fence near Clint, Texas, they were north of the Rio Grande riverbed, which placed them “appropriately in U.S. territory,” according to Maj. Mark Lazane, a spokesman for NORTHCOM. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) and the Department of Defense (DOD), after inquiring of the Mexican government, were informed that the Mexican soldiers thought that the Americans were south of the border. “
Here is another article with similar info and vagaries:

Thanks.
DeleteMy conclusion: the U.S. soldiers were cowards. Both knew where
ReplyDeletethe line of demarcation was. Mexico was the aggressors.
Move over boys; let the Militia handle border security.

I suppose the Militia's "sin" was that they were not "employed in the service of" the fedgov which, by the way, is the "such part of them" that the fed gov has delegated power "for governing". It's all right there in Article I, Section 8.16 of the Constitution. Any Militia NOT employed in FedGov's service is operating by 2nd Amendment right and may only be subject to its State or County jurisdiction. --Ron W
ReplyDeleteGood points.
DeleteMany moons ago I was in the national guard on the border. We had weapons and magazines but no ammo.
ReplyDeleteMakes me think this might have the situation here.
Idiots and even more so, where I was stationed in Vietnam, only the machine gunner had ammo on perimeter watch and the rest didn't.
DeleteSad. Damned sad.
ReplyDeleteReally.
