“The only thing gun-free zones do is disarm law-abiding citizens and take away their ability to protect themselves and others.
Those longing for limited government will sympathize with Rep. Thomas Massie’s (R-KY) sentiment that “we need more pieces of legislation that repeal laws.”
The
Kentucky Congressman has reintroduced the “Safe Students Act,” which
would repeal the Gun-Free School Zones Act originally passed in 1990 but
then amended years later in 1996 after the Supreme Court ruled it
unconstitutional.
“The act has long restricted gun possession within 1,000 feet of a school campus,” according to Guns.com.

This is yet another instance of politicians EXEMPTING THEMSELVES from laws they enact for us--and our children. They have armed protection for themselves, yet deny it to children in schools. Over the last 20-25 years, government's own data and stats show a decline of violent crime as more and more States enacted laws promoting more freedom for citizens to keep AND CARRY guns. The exception was school shootings after the 1990 Gun Free Schools legislation championed by Sen Joe Biden which openly imposed unarmed victim status on schools!! This is incredibly evil and is a criminal trait by those power elites who have and keep for themselves (armed protection) what they take from others, yes, even the most vulnerable of our society! --Ron W

Additionally, school shootings by deranged murderers against unarmed victims, provide an emotional pretext for wicked politicians and their media acolytes to push for ever greater citizen disarmament. It is, as history conclusively demonstrates, a wicked agenda for enslavement and death. --Ron W
