In a recent Washington Post story featuring Rep. Alexandria
Ocasio-Cortez’s chief of staff, Saikat Chakrabarti, he gleefully admits
the real agenda behind the dubious Green New Deal.
“The interesting
thing about the Green New Deal,” Chakrabarti states, “is it wasn’t
originally a climate thing at all.” He then adds, “Do you guys think of
it as a climate thing? Because we really think of it as a
how-do-you-change-the-entire economy thing.”
