China begins military invasion of Hong Kong

Via Knuckledraggin' My Life Away

One of the videos at the link has protestors singing the Star Spangled Banner while holdng American flags. :)

The Chinese government has begun moving troops across the Shenzhen Qianhai Guangshen Coastal Expressway Bridge into Hong Kong minutes ago, in a military operation to put down protests against the government of Beijing.

Hundreds of military trucks carrying soldiers and guns are moving at this hour across the Bridge into Hong Kong.

  1. This is an act of shear desperation on main lands part. Trump's sanctions are really putting the squeeze on them. So they have to put the squeeze on everyone else. This is the Military takeover of HONG KONG that we all feared at the turnover, on 1 July, 1997. Dang 22 years ago? I am getting old.

On a side note, Brock. I saw a bumper sticker today that read "8645." I had to look it up, and found out it means to get rid of (86), 45, Trump.

The Clever Lil Bastards. Spread the word. Can we have one with the numbers 44 stuck upside down in a big steaming pile of Schitt?

      Hopefully not.

  2. From what I've seen and heard on TV, this doesn't seem to be too newsworthy. --Ron W

  3. I remember when Hong Kong was transferred to China, China stated
nothing would change in Hong Kong, they would govern themselves
and basically be independent. China is a control freak and
barbarians and they ain't going to back down. Hong Kong was
    lively and freedom loving.
