Constitutional Carry is now officially the law of the land in South Dakota.
KTIV reports:
Until July 1 of this year, South Dakota was a “shall issue” state for concealed carry. That meant citizens of the state were required to have a license to carry a concealed weapon.
But now it’s legal to carry a concealed weapon without a permit.
South Dakota is now the 14th state that doesn’t require a permit to carry a concealed weapon in the United States.

I live in the wilds of Eastern South Dakota and I will still get a CCL permit even tho I can carry with out. I tend to go to other nearby states and makes life easier when stopped.
ReplyDeleteMakes sense Thanks.
DeleteTrump seems ready to accede to some Democrat gun control so he needs to force them to compromise on real "common sense" solutions, one of which is national reciprocity for CCL and eliminate slave states where people are denied their rights. Another one should be to eliminate federal gun free school zones sponsored by Joe Biden back in 1990 which facilitates, AIDS and abets mass murderers. --Ron W
ReplyDeleteto eliminate federal gun free school zones
DeleteDefinitely.
But Brock! Those signs prove we are serious about keeping the kids safe! Or something...

DeleteBad guys have been adhering to the "No CCL required-constitutional carry" in all 50 states for years, so now it's time to give the honest citizens equal-rights.
ReplyDeleteThanks and I was just thinking over a period of 20 years I have never been asked about CCW though I have volunteered the information a few times when stopped and in each case they have never asked to see the gun or permit.
DeleteRight Dan Patterson, these "lawmakers" post gun free signs for our children, making them known defenseless victims, while they are protected by armed security. They take from us and our children what they have and keep for themselves. That is what criminals do to their victims, of which they are accomplices! --Ron W
