Quite obviously, the most "common sense" things to be done by Federal law is to REPEAL Gun free zones and enact CCW reciprocity so that 2nd Amendment rights are honored everywhere thus eliminating slave States. --Ron W
Democrats hype every mass shooting to scare people into giving up guns. But Americans see violence and instinctively arm up to protect themselves. Democrats will never understand this fundimental difference
Also, our politicians of both parties are not like us. They will happily shove legislation down our throats no matter what we want. As long as they have moral justification so they can preen in front of the cameras.
Democrats do "understand the fundamental difference" that Americans want to protect themselves. That's why in their legislation to disarm us, like the most recent House AWB ban, they EXEMPT THEMSELVES (government officials and agents, even retirees)) AND private security companies used by their wealthy elite friends. --Ron W
