Pity we still don't have some of those old WWII Destroyers and Destroyer escorts. We could saturate the gulf with fire power capable of 35 knots with between 6 and 3 5"38Cal. Rifles that could take out small craft at 3 miles. Upgraded with radar guidance probably further.
