CBS Still Considers $outhern Poverty Law Center Credible

As CBS News was developing its complaint against Fidelity Investment’s charitable fund, it considered information gleaned from the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) as accurate. The gist of the complaint was that Fidelity shouldn’t allow its charity’s funds to go to “hate groups” on SPLC’s HateWatch list, which included the Family Research Council (FRC).

When informed of the smear Lieutenant General (Ret.) William G. Boykin, the FRC’s executive vice president, responded:

      "LEFT FIELD???? Whose on FIRST???? I-Don't-Know is Pitchin', T'Mara's Catchin',... If BUD and LOU knew what was goin' on, they'd roll over in their graves along with a lot of other Patriots!!!
      If I had a "Character" I could morph into for the up coming "INDO-AMERICA WAR GAMES!!!!" it would be "Mr.Hip Shot Percussion" from the late Stan Lynde's Cartoon strip "Rick O'Shay" We need Rick, Hip Shot, Jubal Lee the Preacher, Mort Gauge, the Banker and all the others from "THEN" here and now front and center to kick this country in the behind and brig it back to Righteousness!!! If anybody even remembers what the term means!!
      Fortunately I feel some of us do and I guess it's up to us to do the duty!!!

    The FBI,for what it's worth, was suppose to label the SPLC a hate
    group. But, considering the climate of our country, they never
