Portland, Oregon, like many other notably “blue” cities, is not immune to a growing homelessness problem. Like San Francisco, California, and Seattle, Washington, Portland is overrun with people sleeping rough, many of whom suffer from drug addiction and mental illness.

Very small percentage of them are mentally ill, it is they do not want to work and take responsibility of a house or even a small apartment. Or having a job and all the crap that goes with it. They like getting drunk and getting high. Worthless mouth breathers the lot!

DeleteIt's easier getting federal funding for the criminally insane than were they to ask for help fighting deadpan hippies....
I worked at the SF Air Base in 1994 & was told then that the Chula Vista and Santa Monica Blvd areas were getting worse by the hr because of the huge number of illegals pouring into those parts of California.
What gets me is, while the Latinos are living in rather nice homes, the greater majority of the homeless are White Americans?
I wonder what the stats are for reasoning behind that?
