As Dairies Dump Milk, Frustration Mounts Over Retail Buying Limits

Via Cousin John

Dumping Milk

From Georgia to Pennsylvania, videos like this are flooding social media.  Dairy producers are facing a devastating scenario and being forced to dump milk down the drain. For some dairy farmers, this marks a first.

“This is the first time in the 32 years I’ve been in business that we’ve had to dump milk in the fields,” says Arnie VanDieden, a dairy producer in Texas.

The Texas producer isn’t alone. Paul Hartman in Reading, Penn. has also been in the business more than 30 years and faced a similar scenario earlier this week.

  1. I don't understand this. When I went to WF last week, I had
picked up two chocolate milks, two regular milks and a buttermilk.
The cashier said I could only purchase two milks. Yet they're
dumping it. Obviously not taking the milk from somebody else.
    Psychological control!

    1. Not sure,

“If they're being asked grocery store to only take one gallon of milk, I would get after the grocery store and say, ‘why am I allowed to get one gallon when dairy farmers are dumping milk,’” says Hartman. “Let's take off those restrictions and let people buy as much milk as they can.”

    2. As well as creating shortage along with the fear and panic they know will follow. It will be used to justify their un-Constitutional power grab as well as the restructuring of economy including partial nationalization of some industry. You don't have to take my word for it go look at the bill they just passed.

The citizens are so whipped up into a frenzy from a flu virus and the hype of government, most fail to notice and some even praise this travesty of government restraint by the Constitution. I don't think we have seen anything close since the bastard lincoln or the jackass FDR.

What was that again, 'never let a crisis go to waste', and so they are again utilizing one almost exclusively of their making. I just didn't expect Trump, who reassured us we would not be a socialist country to be such a willing participate in the deed.

By the way, you and expect more such forced shortages to follow as well as more controls, bailouts, as well as socializatons via stock buys with government money.

      Y'all have nice day.

    3. I doubt anyone will be buying stock with $1,200.

    4. True, guess that is why Federal government is doing it themselves. They are also 'discussing' buying oil futures as well, again with our tax dollars.

Forgive me but I just cannot get my head around the whimper given these facts and the partial suspension of state and the Federal Constitutions.

Can someone cue the theme form The Twilight Zone?
