I ask every reader to look at the map above. That is the 2016 electoral map by counties. The red voted for Trump, the blue voted for Hillary. Why is it, then that the red areas are not represented by any media organization, by any school board ruling, by any public policy and is constantly on the defensive when it comes to rights? Because all of those people only stand up once every two or four years to check a box and forget their civic duty the rest of the time. They don't recognize that they have a duty to be present and active on school boards and town councils. Movies are made by people who hate those in the red counties, books are written and published by those who hate those in the red counties. We are offering an answer to their silence. God help us.
