Pastor Courtney Lewis of Cornerstone Baptist Church told Todd Starnes on his eponymous radio show that he was in the middle of church services when someone began to bang loudly on the front doors. Outside, he said, were three police cars, two unmarked cars, and a representative from Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot’s office. Lewis told Starnes it was “like the Soviet-style KGB.”

It should be clear to anyone with an IQ above room temperature that this is all about power and control. I would go so far as to state that the whole manufactured crisis over COVID19 virus is part of an ongoing operation against President Trump and the American people. They are working very hard at creating a "new normal" whereby the citizens will accept a further loss of their Constitutional God given rights and further control by the state and the Party of Evil. Those in power are unwilling to give up the extra power they were granted or invoked by the "state of emergency".
ReplyDeleteWith all due respect to grayeagle40 I disagree him and the notion that those in power can and will be voted out of office in Nov. I do wish it were that simple. I am of the opinion that a real civil war is a not a question of if but of how soon. The most addictive drug known to man is power. Also one of the hardest things one can do, is to admit you were wrong, especially if you are a public figure. Chicago Mayor Lightfoot is showing her true totalitarian self - I would be willing to bet a month's paycheck that she has NOT shut down or harassed one single abortion clinic. They are all about not letting a good crisis go to waste.
