When I was a Soldier . . .

Via The Daily Timewaster

From Marxism to Christianity Through Suffering – Aleksandr ...

I gave Soviet Threat classes.  In those classes, I cited the 70 million people Stalin murdered during his reign; the 120 million Mao killed during his rule.  I talked about Hue and atrocities; Castro and Cambodia.  And mostly, it got no reaction at all.

So I told the story of the five year old boy from Novosibirsk who ran into his class room at school one morning, and tossed his cap off.  It landed, purely by chance, on the bust of Lenin.  The vandal was reported, the political police came, and they arrested the little boy.  No one told his mother.  They charged the boy, tried him  and gave him five years in a Siberian labor camp.  His mother, once she found out, went crazy.  They locked her up in an insane asylum.  The boy didn't last long in Siberia.  None of the guys believed the story, so I showed the Solzhenitsyn's book and had two of them read it out.

Then I told how people would get up to go to work, and gather at bus stops - they had no cars; and how a black van would pull up, police jumped out and grabbed a couple of people, threw them in the truck, and roared off.  The people were innocent. Everyone knew that.  But it was to create fear.  That came from Solzhenitsyn's books, too.

After a silence, I said, "This is why you're here!  This is why we're Soldiers.  This is your enemy. Communism is YOUR enemy!

You can imagine how happy I am to know that half the American people would be glad to have a Socialist state. Bernie Sanders, AOC, all those who still love Hillary, all who voted for California, Massachusetts, Illinois, Washington, Virginia, to go Communist . . .

    Who is being quoted?

I want to repost this, but I must know the source, i.e., who was it that was teaching a classroom of soldiers?

Also, where and when was this instruction given?

    West Point?

    Very recently?

What was the name of the class?

I apologize for the questions, but when I post stuff, I'm a stickler for accurate verification.

    Thank you.
