July 4th Protest: 1000?:) Armed Blacks March on Stone Mountain

1000? This is barely over 100 people 

Why do people think that a "show of force" helps ease racial tensions? The only thing it did was cause the III%er's to go on High Alert and they were there in the 1000's(?) Outside of the Park waiting to act and assist Law Enforcement IF anything went down BUT they were happy that nothing happened and things ended without incident

    At the height of it there were just over 400 people and not all of them were black. Groups splintered off. There are a lot of cameras in the park. I would bet that law enforcement has a copy of all of the videos from yesterday.

    That was a powder keg situation that could have gotten very nasty quickly.

    So I'm guessing it would be OK for the Klan to march thru downtown Atlanta, armed, on MLK ave (I'm assuming there IS a MLK ave)?

    how long did it take therm to get this organized??
    and ghow many "rednecks" showed up in richmond....madison?
    and how long did it take to get over 500 to show up in cor d'alene idaho??

      Never. Not even as a last resort. Police don't think that way. Mayors dont think that way. City counsel's dont think that way. And police chiefs are 100% against that group.

    Watch some of the different videos. Notice how many of the rifles do not have either optics or iron sights.

      Local news last night highlighted that only about a quarter of the AR's had optics. They also pointed out the protesters with bandoleers of ammo that were carrying ammo that would not work with the weapon they were carrying.

      The news report that highlighted it is no longer available on the channel 46's web site. They also made no mention of it this morning in the local news.

      Not really relevant. The US Army includes in its TTPs carrying a mix of weapons and optics as well as carrying ammo types for other people. Examples: mg ammo bearer carries linked 7.62 that his m-4 can't use. Officers armed with pistols carry extra mags of 5.56 for their radio man, and EVERYONE carries mortar ammo.
