Goodyear Bans Blue Lives Matter And MAGA Shirts, Allows BLM And LGBT Messages

GoodYear Tire, NASCAR Drive for Diversity Combine at New Smyrna Speedway on October 23, 2018 in New Smyrna Beach, Florida.
".......corporations that support Marxist organizations, while censoring messages of support for groups like police officers, should face a severe penalty from their customers. Conservatives, myself included, tend to shy away from boycotts. Now is probably time to get over that aversion. Goodyear should not see another dime from us until it has abandoned this policy, apologized for it, and explicitly affirmed the important truth that blue lives, and all lives, do in fact matter."
WIBW, a local news station in Topeka, Kansas, reports that a recent diversity training seminar at the Topeka Goodyear plant included a slide outlining the company’s zero tolerance policy. The image was posted to social media apparently by an employee who says that the material originates from Goodyear corporate headquarters in Akron, Ohio. Listed as “acceptable” messages are Black Lives Matter and LGBT pride. The “unacceptable” column consists of Blue Lives Matter, All Lives Matter, MAGA attire, and political slogans.

This is outrageous on a number of levels. First of all, “all lives matter” is about as non-political as a slogan gets. Political messages are tribalistic and exclusionary by nature. Someone who affirms that all lives matter is expressly rejecting tribalism and defending the dignity of human life universally. The statement is not only non-political but in fact anti-political.

  3. I want to thank Goodyear for making the decision making process of what tire brand to buy so much easier. When will I buy a Goodyear product? Never. Forgive and forget is NOT an option. Lives Matter. If you have to put a color in front of that phrase then it is YOU who is the racist. I am putting my money where my mouth is, based on core moral values. I am willing to pay a higher price for an item, rather then buying the same item at cheap price from a company that is "woke". There are things and beliefs where compromise is NOT an option. The only one for whom I will take a knee for is Jesus the Messiah. In one sense I am grateful for our present times and tribulations. The dividing line between good and evil is more clearer and distinct. Any one who votes Democrat this November is either Evil, a fool or both. The Goodyear company has declared to the world that they are an evil company by giving their support to a communist, anti-American/Western civilization, terrorist organization that is Black Lives Matter.
Here is a litmus test: See if you get ANY objection to Kate Smith singing "God Bless America"? As for myself the only objection I can give is that that the volume is not loud enough.

  4. I worked as a tire technician for 7 years in the 1990's. Goodyear had the worst reputation of all tires among everyone in the shop. They were the absolute worst tire, when having to "seat the bead". They also had the highest rate of defects (zipper tears, etc.) The quality of Michelin over Goodyear was off the charts. I imagine that is still the case today.
