How Lincoln’s War Was Won: Racism was stronger in the North than in the South

How We Know The So-Called “Civil War” Was Not Over Slavery

This article concludes this seven-part series on Lincoln’s war against the South.  The war ended 155 years ago. In the century and a half since, the war’s history has been falsified and misrepresented as a righteous war by the freedom-loving North against the slave-holding South.

The absence of supporting facts has not hampered this false history.

As Lincoln said endlessly, he invaded the Confederate States of America for the sole purpose of conquering the states that seceded and reincorporating them into the United States. Lincoln fought what he declared to be a rebellion.

The South fought because she was invaded.

  1. In August of 1862, Abraham Lincoln wrote these words in a letter to Horace Greeley "If I could save the Union without freeing any slave I would do it, and if I could save it by freeing all the slaves I would do it; and if I could save it by freeing some and leaving others alone, I would also do that."

For Lincoln, the war was for using force against "free and independent States" to prevent them from secession, something for which the Constitution granted no delegated powers, without which, according to the 10th Amendment, the Federal Government may LAWFULLY DO NOTHING. --Ron W

  2. The North won their fight against slavery by enslaving their free population to fight against Southern armies that were already including men who had been freed from slavery to fight for their liberty. And they were so successful that generations of Americans today still see the draft as virtuous (when used "fairly"). Any nation that cannot raise to it's own defense such men who are convinced of the virtue of their cause sufficient to risk their own lives does not deserve to survive.

  3. I served in the NCNG for training and did not want to be in federal service. I would not pick up a rifle again for the FUSA. However if the South or NC goes it's own way I will do all a 62 year old can do to make it a success. As they say drive a rifle or ride the boxcars.
