I had an operation, but hope to be at the PATCON

If not, everything is set up with the table, tent and chairs already there.  Susan will pickup the Barbecue at 12 and I'm sure you, young, fine and outstanding gentlemen will do an admirable job! :)

    1. Thank you and a complete sham it was. Absolutely the fault of the mob beating on his car.

  13. Brock, did your PATCON get started as planned? Is it raining
    in your area, Tarboro?

    1. No, I didn't make it but some of the campers left in the middle of the night because of the storm and others this morning decided to cancel though three people came and saw no one when people were supposed to be there until 12:30. What a mess. :(

    2. Sounds like a mess and probably the first one you missed.
All that work by Susan for nothing. People aren't as
tough as they think they are. Is it constant rain or on
and off? Really sorry for the dismal ending.

    3. Thanks and if the two couples didn't leave last night, they probably would have gone ahead. I would have gone ahead as there were other couples who showed up this morning said no one was there....?

    4. Was there actually no one there. Was Susan out and about
on the property? Did they even get out of their vehicles?
Probably didn't see any campers around.

    5. It was the time Susan went to Abram's to make sure they cancelled the order but there was a boy on the front roof which they might not have seen. Too bad.

  14. What a waste of peoples traveling time and preparation. Did
the speakers not show also? Could the attendees not call you
    on your cell phone?
Side note, just for the Hell of it:
UNCA was on lock down Friday as some one wanted the blm mural
painted over. I didn't even know there was such a mural.
What about the people/students who do not like the mural; don't
they have any rights. It seems the mural is right under my
brother's office window and he certainly does not like this
    propaganda stunt or blm. Infuriating.

    1. All who paid showed up I believe. As you said "People aren't as tough as they think they are." My Confederate ancestors would be appalled.

      Infuriating.

      Really.
