Republican Gov. Greg Abbott (TX) on Monday night ripped into the so-called “loyalty” screening of tens of thousands of National Guards troops to secure the inauguration of President-elect Joe Biden.
Linking to a piece from The Washington Post concerning the excess screening of 25,000 National Guard troops, Abbott posted: “This is the most offensive thing I’ve ever heard. No one should ever question the loyalty or professionalism of the Texas National Guard.”

Gov. Abbott is correct. At a minimum every service member has a "Secret" security clearance where their backgrounds were checked and scrutinized on a periodic basis. Congressional members are given their security clearance with little or no background check.

DeleteTexas had better get their Guardsman and other assets firmly under the governor's control. It's a certainty that the commie left in DC has plans to insure that Texas doesn't secede and people like Abbott get sent to the gulags early. Red states like Texas will be dealt with early in the lefts scheme to destroy freedom.
