Secession? It's really very dimple IF one adheres to the basics of Constitutional law according to its objective wording. The United States was delegated a "few and defined" powers by the States and it may lawfully do nothing beyond those according to the 10th Amendment. It has NO enumerated delegated power to prevent one or more of the "free and independent States" from leaving (seceding) from the Union. --Ron W
One of the nations biggest TRYANNTS. Besides all of the atrocities he committed, suspending Habeus Corpus was probably the worst. He took away any venue for redress or recourse for people who were silenced. "Vengeance is mine to take saith the Lord. I will repay." He did. Deo Vindice
