Donald Trump recently said it would be an “interesting” idea for him to run for a Florida seat in the U.S. House of Representatives in 2022.
And former White House Chief Strategist Steve Bannon thinks it can happen.
During an interview on The War Room podcast, Bannon and Georgia GOP Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene discussed Trump not running for Congress but being elected the next Speaker of the House in 2022 if Republicans take back the House.

Silly, silly, silly idea.
ReplyDeleteDepends on Trump winning, Republicans winning the house and getting all the rino/never Trumper swamp turds to vote for him
Never know , as even McConnell said he would back Trump if the the candidate in 2024. Surprised me.
DeleteHere is another scenario. Republicans take back the House. They elect Donald Trump as Speaker of the House. As it turns out, the Speaker of the House does not need to be a member of the House of Representatives! Don't know all the details. I will investigate, but apparently that is the case. Don't know if it has ever been done, but it would be fun.
ReplyDeleteI saw that today and interesting indeed. The Democrats would freak out.
