Amazing photo's. I'm sorry this happened to them, but now they can can rest in peace.
Yes, Sir and I wish the Lee family would follow suit.
I wish I could have been there. I will always recognize theConfederacy as a separate entity.North and South ARE TWO SEPARATE NATIONS NEVER TO BE FORCED INTO ONE HUGE NATION ! = The FoundersCSA President Jefferson Davis prophetically said, “There are essential differences between North and South [Nations] , that, no matter how this war ends, will STILL make them Two Separate Nations”.Founder Madison stated in the Federalist #62 that the senate was to …”guard by every possible expedient AGAINST improper CONSOLIDATION OF THE STATES INTO ONE SIMPLE REPUBLIC”.Founder and President John Adams wrote, “No one ever even thought of consolidating this vast continent under one national government.” [The very thought of it was appalling and tyrannical to them]WE need to get back to how the FOUNDERS ESTABLISHED THINGS TO BE !They wisely knew that the North and South are totally different peoples that could NEVER join minds or natures to live in peace with each other as one – they saw proof of that in the shared govt they established. There is a good reason for there to be TWO American Nations ! And Lawfully they still are !“They are NEVER to be forced into one huge Nation.” = Founders
the North and South are totally different peoplesAmen and brings to mind:Confederate General D.H. Hill's letter to Yankee General French in 1863: (Excerpt)"In regard to your first communication touching the burning of Plymouth you seem to have forgotten two things. You forget, sir, that you are a Yankee and that Plymouth is a Southern town. It is no business of yours if we choose to burn our own towns. A meddling Yankee troubles himself with everybody's matters but his own and repents of everybody's sins except his own. We are a different people. Should the Yankees burn a Union village in Connecticut or a codfish town in Massachusetts we would not meddle with them but rather bid them God-speed in their work of purifying the atmosphere.""After the War"(from Sam Ward, King of the Lobby, pp. 303-304) https://www.namsouth.com/viewtopic.php?t=75&highlight=general+hill
Exactly. In the little Southern town I am closest towhich had been Southern Appalachian an explosion of yankees invaded and one can tell them from the indigenouspeople. Not only their speech but their mannerisms, aggressiveness, and narcissism. They take over.
Thanks and we can blame the invention of A/C for them. :)
